We had the pleasure of staying at the Atlanticview Hotel for my partner's 50th birthday. It was our first trip to Cape Town and it was the ideal location and hotel for us. I researched locations thoroughly and noted the advice that first time visitors to Cape Town should stay around the V&A but the reviews from other guests who stayed at the Atlanticview hotel swayed me to choose this boutique hotel situated in Camps Bay for this surprise trip. The location was ideal as it was peaceful and the views towards the Atlantic ocean were spectacular particularly at sunset! It is extremely easy to get around Cape Town from this location. We used ubers, which were accessible; location only around 10 - 15 mins to the V&A. However, Camps Bay itself, less than 5mins drive to the bottom of the hill had some fantastic restaurants and a nice beach. The best meals we had in Cape Town were in Camps Bay - restaurants recommended by the staff at the Atlanticview! The staff were amazing and we owe Justine and all her colleagues immense gratitude for their kindness and professionalism. Each staff member we met greeted us warmly and answered the numerous questions we had about the area, sightseeing locations etc. Our room was sooo comfortable and luxurious looking onto the "heated" infinity pool, which assisted with relaxation as soon as we arrived. Please don't hesitate to book, we can't wait to have another opportunity to visit again.

The owner Greg was so nice and informative prior to our arrival and the staff was exceptional once we arrived. The morning breakfast each day was absolutely exquisite! Everyone was kind, professional, and respectful. Everything about this location was unique and special. The views of the mountains and ocean were breathtaking! I can't come up with enough words to explain what an absolutely amazing stay we had at the Atlanticview hotel. Even the other guests were so kind. There wasn't anything overlooked. The visit was by far a 5 star experience which my husband and I look forward to visiting in the near future.

The location is impressive, really fabulous! The sunsets are epic! We thank also to the personal working there, Mansur, Angelique and Timeez from the reception, specially to Mansur for organising everything for us and made everything heaven! We thank chef Epi for the great food, specially the beef rib eye steaks! We thank Bridget, Gertrude, Precious from the housekeeping for making the mornings very welcoming and beautiful for us! Best regards from Romania! We miss you guys! Big hugs from Claudia and Ciprian!thank you guys for everything!

Carmen

This is a superb boutique hotel with panoramic views of the area. The staff and service levels are exceptional. Breakfast is delicious served some days by either Bridget or Precious who are super friendly. Justine heads up an amazing crew, including Timeez, Angelique and Lizaine. Dinner is well worth having not only for the views of sunset but the food is really top notch. Very convenient to Camps Bay nestled in one of the higher streets.

Paul

Wonderful location with amazing views of Camps Bay and surrounding mountains ⛰️ Also, very peaceful away from main roads and noise of Camps Bay Town. The happy hour with complimentary wine from 7 - 9 pm helped to make the evenings very social amongst other guests. The rooms were lovely, the food was delicious, and the staff were brilliant! We really loved our stay!
